Acupuncturist
Christy Koehler, L.Ac, a former Palisadian, has been practicing acupuncture at the Cypress Center since 2007. She earned her Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Emperor's College in Santa Monica in 2006. Christy specializes in orthopedics as well as women's health and fertility. She also has a history treating chronic pain, the common cold and flu, insomnia, fatigue, stress, menopausal symptoms, allergies, depression and anxiety, digestive disorders, addiction and endocrine disorders.
Christy’s undergraduate degree is in International Health from UC Berkeley. After college she worked at a health and wellness catalog company, assisted an acupuncturist in Santa Cruz for two years and then worked at the front desk here at The Cypress Center for 5 years while she was earning her Masters degree in Chinese Medicine.
She is also on staff at the California Health and Longevity Institute at Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. Outside of work, Christy enjoys cooking healthy food for her family and friends, and maintains an avid yoga practice. www.sunsethillsacupuncture.com | christykoehlerlac@gmail.com
