doctorate degree in physical therapy from Mount St Mary’s University. Mimi has advanced training and specialization in women's and men's pelvic health, and she is a certified lymphedema therapist.
Mimi has been serving the Southern Community for many years in different areas in the healthcare field. She has experiences in both orthopedic and women's health, including pre and postpartum, pelvic floor disorders, breast cancer rehabilitation. Through her dialogues with other physical therapists specializing in women’s and men’s pelvic health across the United States, she recognizes that this is an underserved population where conservative management as provided by a physical therapist can have a profound impact in a person's quality of life. She is a pelvic floor specialist and has treated both male and female with various pelvic floor dysfunctions. She is also passionate about lymphedema management, and has worked primarily with breast cancer patients through various phases of their treatment. She considers herself an integrative healthcare practitioner as she is also a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She practices yoga, meditation as well as strength-based training on a regular basis, which is reflective in her approach to patient care.
Mimi is excited to bring her expertise to The Cypress Center's Women's Health Program and to join our amazing team of clinicians. If you would like to contact her she can be reached at: mimi@thecypresscenter.com.
